Paws, tubes, gears
→ These photos are really special to me. I took them on Kentemere 400 on my Minolta XG-1, but that doesnt matter. My online friend Lily was visiting and we decided to spend her short time here to do some urban exploring at the Damen Silos in Chicago. We took the train there and hopped the fence to get in. It was so much fun. We had a thread up on a website we both used and documented our exploration while friends watched. We kissed a little. We were exploring a more exposed part of the location until I heard a honk, saw a truck out a window, and then had to sprint out as fast as we could. Lily lost her shoe in a swampy area (those are her converse with the paws drawn on) and she had to hop back to a target to get some new shoes. Then we walked to a little diner and got french dips and I called her my honeybunny and that we should rob the place, just like in pulp fiction. I think it was one of the best days of my life. Home
windows, bricks, and vines.
What matter’s now?
